Terms of Service
Effective date: July 24, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and MGIT, LLC, doing business as Adjunct Hub ("we," "us," or "Adjunct Hub") governing your use of adjunct-hub.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
1. What the Service is
Adjunct Hub is a curated job board and professional community for adjunct and part-time higher-education instructors. It includes job listings gathered from institutions' own public career sites, an application tracker, shareable instructor profiles, and a members-only discussion board (the Faculty Lounge).
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for your account and everything done under it. Keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your account settings.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate anyone or register under a name you have no right to use.
3. Memberships and billing
- Free accounts can search and browse listings. Paid memberships (currently Basic and Premium) unlock additional features such as full job descriptions, apply links, application tracking, instructor profiles, and the Faculty Lounge. Current pricing is shown on the pricing page.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
- You can cancel anytime from the pricing page or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise — though if something went wrong, contact us and we'll consider refund requests case by case.
- If we change membership prices, the change takes effect at your next renewal, and we'll give you reasonable notice first so you can cancel if you prefer.
4. Job listings
Listings on the Service are collected from the hiring institutions' own public career sites and reviewed by our team before publication. We work to keep them accurate and current — including automatically removing listings that are no longer live at the source — but we are not the employer, we don't control the postings, and we can't guarantee that any listing is accurate, still open, or will result in an interview or job. Applications happen on the institution's own site under its terms, and hiring decisions are entirely between you and the institution.
5. Your content
- You own the content you post — profile details, photos, videos, and Lounge posts. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it through the Service so the features you're using can work (for example, showing your public instructor profile to visitors, or your posts to other members).
- You're responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to post, and keep it professional: no unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content; no spam or unsolicited advertising; no malware; no impersonation; no violating anyone's privacy or intellectual property.
- Instructor introduction videos are reviewed before they appear publicly, and we may decline or remove one that doesn't meet our standards. More broadly, we may remove any content or restrict any account that violates these terms.
- Keep your own copies of anything important. We take backups, but we can't guarantee against loss, and you shouldn't treat the Service as your only copy of your professional materials.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract listings, profiles, or any other content from the Service, whether by bot or by hand.
- Don't resell, redistribute, or republish Service content or data.
- Don't probe, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the Service's security or access controls, or use it in any unlawful way.
7. Our content
The Service itself — its design, code, branding, and original content (excluding what users post) — belongs to Adjunct Hub and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Don't use our name or branding without written permission.
8. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@adjunct-hub.com with a description of the work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, consistent with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512). We'll review and remove infringing content where appropriate.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as limitations of liability) survive it.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing will lead to employment. Links to institutions' sites and other third-party sites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content or practices.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adjunct Hub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits or lost opportunities — arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas for any dispute not resolved informally. If you have a dispute with us, contact us first at support@adjunct-hub.com — we'd rather resolve it informally than in court, and most things can be.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we'll post notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
