Amanda Lannoye

I design and deliver engaging instruction that develops students' proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish while fostering an appreciation for Hispanic cultures. I create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and encourages active participation, critical thinking, and effective communication. Some of my responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teaching Spanish language skills using a variety of instructional strategies, technology, and authentic cultural materials. Assessing student learning through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback to support academic growth. Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with varying proficiency levels and learning abilities. Maintaining a positive, respectful classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success. Integrating cultural studies to deepen students' understanding of Spanish-speaking countries and global perspectives. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom expectations. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop curriculum and implement best instructional practices. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school-sponsored activities. Utilize educational technology and digital learning platforms to enhance instruction and student engagement. Support students' academic, social, and emotional development while encouraging confidence in language acquisition.
